In the final quarter of 2020, Brazil's iOS users engaged with their favorite music and podcasts applications with varying intensity. Sensor Tower data offers an overview of how the leading apps performed during this period.

Spotify - Music and Podcasts saw a fluctuation in revenue, peaking at around $4M in early November before tapering off to about $2.6M by the end of December. Downloads for Spotify showed an upward trend, with a spike to over 100K in the last week of November. The app's weekly active users remained robust, starting at approximately 3.6M and peaking at nearly 3.9M by the end of November.

YouTube Music maintained a strong revenue performance throughout the quarter, with revenues hovering between $51K and $63K per week. Downloads increased from around 19K to over 28K, with a notable spike in weekly active users from 1.1M to a high of 1.7M in mid-October.

Deezer: Music Player, Podcast also experienced a healthy revenue trend, with a rise from $45K to $55K in early December, before descending to around $39K at the year's end. Downloads remained steady, with a slight uptick from 18K to 21K. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from just over 1M to around 920K.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts had minimal revenue, which is not the primary focus, but it sustained a consistent download rate of around 15K to 17K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users showcased growth from around 1.3M to over 1.5M in late December.

Lastly, SoundCloud: Discover New Music saw its revenue peak at $141 before settling at $84 by the quarter's end. The app's downloads showed a decreasing trend from 15K to 12K, while weekly active users remained relatively stable with a slight decline from 1.4M to 1.3M.
